Shipboard dress is casual. Shorts and tasteful T-shirts are acceptable even in the dining room
It's a good idea to dress in layers, as the weather in the Galapagos can be quite unpredictable. Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes or lightweight hiking boots and waterproof sandals for the beach. Due to the Galapagos Islands' proximity to the Equator, wearing a hat, sunglasses and sunblock every day is recommended. You'll want to bring a sweater or lightweight jacket for windy nights.
At dinner, dress codes range from casual to smart casual, depending on the ship. There are no formal nights on a Galapagos cruise.
