Cruise ships that travel to the Galapagos Islands are typically smaller, expedition-style ships, some built exclusively for Galapagos cruising. Ships can accommodate anywhere from 16 to 100 guests. These ships often only have one main dining room, but sometimes have a specialty dining venue. Typically, breakfast each day and at least some lunches and dinners (if not all) are included. Meals are often served in single seatings with unassigned tables for an informal atmosphere and easy mingling. The menu is usually international, but may also feature some local dishes.
